Quality Policy Statement
Quality is important to our business because we value our clients, and always strive to provide them with a service that meets or exceeds their expectations.
MoreBrains Cooperative was established in 2020 to provide consultancy services to the research and scholarly communications industry. Our clients include funding organisations, institutions, publishers, research infrastructure organisations, and others. We are a fully remote micro-organisation comprising four Co-founders, based in Chichester (UK), Lewes (UK), Edinburgh (UK), and Brookline (USA).
We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.
The following systems and processes are in place to support us in our aim of total customer satisfaction and continuous improvement:
- Regular meetings with clients throughout each project, to ensure everyone is aligned, and to gather and monitor their feedback
- A customer complaints procedure
- Selection and performance monitoring of suppliers against set criteria
- Ongoing training and development for all Co-founders
- Regular reviews of our operations and processes
- Measurable quality objectives, revisited annually, which reflect our values
- Management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints
Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are held in a Quality Manual which is made available to all employees. This policy is posted on the Company Notice Board and can also be found in the staff handbook. All four Co-founders share the responsibility for Quality within our organisation, and for ensuring that it is embedded in all that we do.
The policy review date is 31 October 2025.
